THE BEATLES,
PLAYED HAGSTROM GUITAR

A vintage Hagstrom acoustic guitar (with two electric knobs), once played by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison on March 8th, 1963. The serial number of the guitar is 62569. Formerly owned by George McCormick (known as Ricky Fenton and fronting Ricky Fenton and the Apaches), this was played in the dressing room at the Royal Hall in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. George played it first, and then John and Paul.

Hagstrom is a notable Swedish guitar company, as they have been played by Elvis Presley, David Bowie, Frank Zappa, and Kurt Cobain over the years.

Although this guitar wasn't owned by any of the Beatles members, nor was it frequently played by them, it's truly an extraordinary opportunity to come over a guitar that's been played by Lennon, McCartney, and Harrison for a remarkably low amount.

Condition: Plenty of usage with cracking on the top portion of the body, as well as rubbing. And there is cracking on the headstock and smudging on the tuning pegs, as well as wear on the outside of the body.

Provenance: Letter of Provenance from original owner George McCormick, including show and promo card related to Ricky Fenton and the Apaches. Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from Perry Cox. Letter of Authenticity from Alexander Bitar History.
