ELVIS PRESLEY, OWNED
AND WORN "TCB" NECKLACE
A remarkable and iconic 14k gold necklace with blue enamel shaped of a lightning bolt topped with the letters "TCB" that's been personally owned and worn by Elvis Presley. "TCB" is an acronym for Presley's motto, "Taking Care of Business", which he used on several personal custom-made belongings.
It's known that Presley ordered "TCB" necklaces on October 19, 1970, which were strictly in gold with no blue enamel and were given to some in his "Memphis Mafia" and friends as a sign of being in his inner circle. The necklaces were made by Schwarz & Ableser, a fine jeweler in Beverly Hills. Notable, this necklace was made especially by Schwarz & Ableser as a Christmas gift to Presley from Dennis Roberts in 1971. Roberts was Presley's optician who made more than 400 eyewear; many of which were sunglasses with the "TCB" acronym. What's unique about this very necklace is that it was indeed personally owned and stage-used by Elvis Presley. The unique blue enamel makes it special in comparison to the all-gold "TCB" necklaces that Presley gave away as gifts. When it comes to Elvis Presley's personal belongings, it doesn't get much better than this.
