ANDY WARHOL, OWNED
AND USED POLAROID CAMERA
A 1974 Polaroid SX-70 Land Camera, personally owned and used by Andy Warhol. The classic Polaroid camera can be seen with Warhol in many images; it was a favorite of his. Warhol was famous for taking Polaroid shots of his friends and colleagues.
The camera was given by Warhol to his friend John Wilcock in the mid-1980s. Wilcock co-founded Interview magazine with Warhol in 1969 and published The Autobiography and Sex Life of Andy Warhol in 1971.
Condition: In used, yet very fine working condition.
